The Science of BiologyBiology - literally is the study (ology) of life (bio). Biology covers a range of topics from the beginnings of life on this planet to the anatomy of plants, animals and people. If it is living, then it is included in Biology. Honestly, you can glide by in life without knowledge of the subject, but it would be a shame as your life is ruled by it. With the edge of knowledge, even in everyday life, you can do many things. Plan a garden. Guide yourself through a chance at a healthy family life. Take care of animals. Take care of people. Extend your own life... The possibilities are endless, even if your knowledge of the subject may be merely trivial. Think what you can do if you expand upon that knowledge. In a professional arena, the subject is crucial for any medical profession and in caring for animals. Botanist also need a strong Biology background as well as Chemists and every other practice of Science. If you wish to work as an Environmentalist, you need to know how living things work. Aside from the major science fields, a bit of knowledge in Biology can give you an edge. It can put one on an edge in a business from a mere paper-pusher to one who will be paid a little more to do actual projects that may benefit the business. Biology is one of the easiest Sciences to study. Just get familiar with the terms and truly understand them. This will help get you far. Take copious notes and ask questions to your teacher, or consult extra books for help.
