In poker, certain combinations of cards, or hands, outrank other hands. A poker hand consists of five cards.
A Royal Flush has an Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and 10 of the same suit.
A Straight Flush is made up of 5 numbers of the same suit in a row such as 2, 3, 4, and 5 of hearts.
Four Of A Kind is made from 4 numbers of the same suit in a row such as 5, 6, 7, and 8 of clubs.
A Full House consists of three of a kind and two of a kind. Such as a 2 of diamonds, hearts, and clubs with a 3 of hearts and diamonds.
A Flush is a hand with all 5 of the numbers being in the same suit.
A Straight is 5 numbers in a row which are of differing suits.
Three Of A Kind and Two Pairs are obvious.
